A zine centered around Gothic architecture in London

One of the many sites in London, England that draws people from all over the world is Westminster Abbey, a Medieval Gothic cathedral that dates back to 1066 and is the final resting place of 17 monarchs as well as significant figures in history. While certainly the most well known, the Abbey is not the only Gothic site in the city. Many still remain from the Middle Ages and Victorian period.

This Risograph zine uses illustrations to show the main characteristics of the Gothic architectural style and lists some of the most well known Gothic sites in London. The zine features a poster of Westminster Abbey that is revealed when the zine opens up while the front and back covers show the approximate location of Gothic sites in relation to the River Thames. I intended to play to the strengths of Riso utilising the unique texture that Riso printers create to create the effect of natural light shining through the stained glass Rose window.
