A collection of fonts inspired by period architecture

The United Kingdom has an impressive architectural legacy with a wide range of both contemporary and historical styles dating all the way back to Roman times. A sample of these styles include Roman, Gothic, Tudor, Baroque, Georgian, Victorian, and Edwardian.

Having a special interest in typography and historical architecture I aimed to merge the two together. Originally starting out as one font inspired by Gothic architecture for the project Gothic London, this project ended up being the start of a collection. Fonts for the architectural styles Gothic, Tudor, Georgian, and Regency were created to showcase the variety of characteristics associated with each style.
