Along side existing knowledge on the subject, visual research was then done in order to get a better sense of the visual aesthetic of retro gaming. Research was gathered on Level Up Electronics, including what services did they offer and what products they sell. The store has a reputation for their retro games and consoles making it the logical decision to have the logo style be retro. The flyer and business card was collected to be redesigned with the new visual identity.

For the business card and flyer, the theme of retro games was continued and the logo design was expanded upon. I used the original information of the previous flyer and created the design to appear as if the audience was opening up their inventory while playing a game. The items in the inventory slots list the actual inventory of Level Up. The chosen colour palette and primary font were inspired by retro games and arcades.
